About ZaKeyia
ZaKeyia Lacey is a Musical Theatre Performer and Choreographer from Wilmington, Delaware. She began her dance career at the age of 3, doing competition dance from the age of 7 to 14, and finally going to Cab Calloway School of the Arts as a dance major with an emphasis in Musical Theatre.
ZaKeyia developed her love of theatre in high school, where she was the Dance Captain of several productions, leading her to pursue her BFA in Musical Theatre with a Minor in Commercial Entrepreneurship at Florida State University, graduating in May 2025.
Some of her favorite credits include: Sandy Cheeks in Spongebob the Musical, Featured Ensemble for shows such as Something Rotten, Spamalot, and Female Swing in Dreamgirls at the Muny.
Outside of performing, ZaKeyia pursues her other passion, teaching. Being technically trained in many dance styles including tap, jazz, theatre, and more, she travels along the East Coast to teach at different dance studios. Her love for her students fuels this passion, as well as allows her to continue to learn from the younger generation of stars.
